Insecto Tuxca Lineño + Ixteco Amarillo is produced by Master Tabernero Pedro Ruiz Contreras in Zapotitlán de Vadillo. The agaves are cooked in underground pit ovens, milled by hand, fermented in stone wells, and double distilled in traditional Filipino stills.

Insecto Tuxca comes from the Vadillo Nava family in Jalisco. The Tuxca branding and Denomination of Origin are relatively new to Mexico. The history of the agave spirits in this region of Jalisco & Colima is celebrated by this branding and the name Tuxca.
