47% abv, 12/18 distillation date, lote B0013TO4719

Review #90: Nose is very fruity with strawberry, lemonade, orange juice, and sweet florals. Palate follows it all with strawberry, lemonade, mango, peach, watermelon, lychee, and orange.

Fruit bomb! Holy cow, every time I tried looking for more than just fruits on this, I kept coming back to write down another fruit. It’s really juicy and delicious. Not too sweet either, it’s like a bunch of fresh fruits. Throw complexity out the window because I don’t care that this doesn’t really have it, this is still a delight to drink.

Very fruity and sweet. Strawberry and over ripe pineapple. Just ok.

Tons of fresh juicy fruit flavors like a homemade fruit smoothie. After being very underwhelmed by the Banhez Tepeztate I wasn’t expecting much from this Tobala. But of course, every batch and every maker is different. This Tobala is just bursting with fresh fruit aromas and flavors. The finish tastes like a Creamsicle with the vanilla bean softness. It leaves a pleasant warm feeling on your tongue. 47% ABV. From Luis Pacheco in La Noria Section 13, Ejutla. Dated 12/18.

Lot B0009T044719. Sweet aromas of lilac, roses, and fresh pollen on the breeze. Very floral on the nose. The palate is big and full. Notes of poppies, pumpkin seeds, nutmeg, sweet potatoes, and ripe papaya. This tastes dark orange or burnt orange in color. Good viscosity. A little bit of heat on the back of the palate but overall really nice.

Against my preference toward Karwinskii, but give this one the advantage over the Cuixe. Was a tasty tobala.
