6 reviewsWell-aged Añejo, nice complexity, pleasant smoke. On the nose: caramel, wood smoke, charcoal, fruit, brown sugar, slight note of glue. Palate: Fruits, wood smoke, spices, charcoal, agave, brown sugar, pepper. In the finish: spices, sugar cane, agave, pepper, subtle bitterness, herbs; very long.

1 reviewI took several bottles of Yuu Baal Añejo I bought in Oaxaca by 2015/2016 and invite my friends in Miami and NY, mostly cigars fans and whisky and brandy “conoceurs”, and they all love it! Later I went to Tampa Bay and gave it to friends and they all could not stop drinking and enjoying it. Of course I explained how to recognize the good from the not so good ones, and how to drink mezcal as well. Later on I found this brand at liquor stores in Fort Lauderdale but not the Anejo.

668 reviewsAged mezcals aren’t my go-to when at a bar, but it’s nice to try new brands. Considering the relatively low price, this is a tasty añejo. It has your classic añejo notes of honey and vanilla. It tastes very clean and goes down smooth. I’ve enjoyed the Yuu Baal espadín as well which is from the same mezcalero (also well-priced).
