Comiteco

Comiteco is a Mexican spirit produced in the southern state of Chiapas using maguey Comiteco (agave Atrovirens Haw), native to the region around the city of Comitán de Domínguez. Comiteco is distilled from fermented agave sap (aguamiel), sometimes with the addition of sugar.
