Florencio Carlos Vasquez

Florencio Carlos Vasquez is a mezcalero in Santa Catarina Minas, Oaxaca. He is the son of Florencio Carlos Sarmiento and brother of Luis Carlos Vasquez. Their region has an arid semi-tropical microclimate and great water. Their palenque has stills made of clay with bamboo tubing, which gives their mezcals distinct flavors. Florencio and his family produce mezcal for Del Maguey.
