Cristalino
The first commercially available cristalino tequila, Don Julio 70, debuted near the end of 2011. Since then cristalinos have become trendy in the world of tequila. It’s no surprise that cristalino mezcals would make their debut. Cristalino mezcals are essentially barrel-aged mezcals that have been filtered (often through charcoal) to remove their color.
