About this mezcal
De Ella Youthful Maiden is made with maguey Espadin (Agave angustifolia) that is roasted with oak in an underground pit oven. The agaves are milled by tahona, fermented with well water and naturally occurring airborne yeasts, and distilled in a copper pot still.

238 reviewsTangy espadin. I get those slightly sour fruit notes Jonny got. It’s light with little heat. Enjoyable.

730 reviewsSome slightly sour aromas of green apples, orange juice that’s been left out and slightly soured, and fresh pears. The palate is similar to the nose with the addition of a bit of jalapeño spice. This is a really nice Espadin.
