101 reviewsAlso sampled at Tre Dita. Had two pours of this and really liked it! Lemony and this one had a clear flavor profile from Miahuatlan. Kind of like lemon and strawberries and cream with a nice level of smoke within there, too. I’m not always the type to reach for Tobala but I really like everything I’ve had from Gusto Historico as a brand and this is no different!

Nose: tons of floral for me, roses, eucalyptus, then bubble gum, melon, floral fruity combo
Palate and Finish: wow, this is terrific. Bubble gum continues. Banana, overripe watermelon, fruity candy, dried mangoes moving into the finish. The finish brings fruit leather, minerality, gravel, a bit of tangy citrus, and finally some mint but not overly so.
This is terrific and might be my favorite Tobala I have tried to date. It’s a killer combo of fruit, floral, and minerality on the finish. Well done by Victor

Review #66 Nose is full of bubblegum, watermelon, strawberry and airy florals. The palate has more bubblegum, watermelon, and strawberry, along with some banana, pine, and fresh wintergreen. The finish is rather long, with pops of jalapeno, bell pepper, and more lasting mint.
This kind of mix of fruit and vegetal notes are always some of my favorites. The strawberry and pine are a classic duo for me and they’re surrounded by these rich juicy fruits on the front of the palate as it fades to more prickly herbs and vegetables as the finish lingers. A very pretty smell from this as well. It’s just an awesome Tobala.
