The brand has ties to the brand Kimo Sabe and it is possible that the mezcal is exactly the same but in a different bottle. This mezcal is sold exclusively at Total Wine & More in the United States as part of their Spirits Direct program.
Luminar Mezcal
Luminar Mezcal uses select agaves grown in the Bajio and on the mountain tops in the state of Zacatecas. According to the brand, 254 farming families in Zacatecas have nurtured their agaves for years bring the world this mezcal. Luminar is exclusively available at Total Wine & More in the United States as part of their Spirits Direct program. The program allows wholesalers to clear spirits for reduced margins enabling Total Wine to sell spirits from smaller producers more profitably.
It should be noted that Luminar Mezcal is likely Kimo Sabe mezcal with a different label. Kimo Sabe filed for the trademark for Luminar Mezcal (source). Both brands also share the same NOM (Norma Oficial Mexicana) which is registered with the Mexican government.

Visual note, this reposado is almost clear, just a tinge of yellow (looks clearer than most repos, in my opinion).
Nose – Sour/spoiled white wine. Smoke scent is a bit rough.
Palate – Artificial sweetener, sour/spoiled white wine (that was prominent in the nose) and condensed muffler exhaust. Compared to the joven, this reposado is noticeably worse. It is undrinkable even at the price point.
