About this mezcal
Mezcal Oro de Oaxaca Joven con Gusano is a common mezcal to see if you visit the state of Oaxaca. It is made using Espadin and each bottle contains a mezcal worm; “gusano” in Spanish. It is unclear (no pun intended) how this mezcal gets its pale yellow (or gold) hue.
