Pequeña Raiz Raicilla Anejo is produced by Maestra Raicillera Domitila Anaya Topete in Cuautla, Jalisco using Agave maximiliana. The agaves are milled by hand and distilled in a Filipino still. After distillation, this mezcal was rested in American Oak barrels for 14 months before bottling.

Pequeña Raiz Raicilla is produced by Maestra Tabernera, Doña Domitila, a resilient woman and matriarch who took the reins of her family’s raicilla tradition after a tragic accident claimed her husband and one of her sons. The brand is a tribute to the legacy of Doña Domitila and the rich cultural heritage of a very special region in Jalisco: the magical town of Cuautla.
