About this mezcal
Salvación Original is made with maguey Espadin and Arroqueno along with a secret herb. The agaves are roasted in an earthen pit at the 150 year old distillery in Oaxaca. These roasted agaves are then crushed by a horse-drawn tahona. The resulting mash is distilled in traditional clay and copper alembics, fed by wood burning fires. Using a 6th generation family recipe, this mezcal has a balanced aroma of herbs and fresh green citrus. Salvación Original has a delicately sweet, smoky harmonious finish.
