Lote: SBG-E1601Lots going in here. The nose is not as intense as the ABV would have one think. Full of sweetness and baking spices and hints of orange. Upon taste the mouth feel is intense coating everything. Sweet with some lactose notes on the front amd the outbreath retains that caramel baked good sweetness. Overall a real pleasant after work sipper.

12/2018The nose is filled with bright green bell pepper and a cheesey lactose. Aggressive but funky with a great spice. Notes of Cilantro and Basil. Honestly not hitting on some of the intense funk notes usually found in Tep. However I think this lot is one of the best Tepeztates I’ve had from a Refrecadora Still. Less sugar, less smoky protiens and tons and tons of green agave flavors.
One of my favorite distillates from an incredible line up. This strikes a perfect balance between the sweet leathery and ripened fruit notes of the tobala and the intense citrusy punch of the jabali. This is one to sip over a long period of time as it changes its flavors through out it time in the glass.
Tried a lot produced in 12/18 from Luis Pacheco in La Norua 13. Incredibly floral with notes a lime peel and iron finishing it off. Really a great one for food. Went super well with some grilled fish that evening.
