Highly unique spirit, probably unlike anything you’ve ever tasted before.
Smells like root vegetables freshly pulled out of the ground. Beets, carrots, sunchokes, pine, eucalyptus, menthol, freshly tilled aerated soil. Aggressive and Exceptional.
One of the best things I tasted in 2019. Fresh, Bright, GREEN aromas – everything green – spearmint, green bell peppers, lime zest, tarragon, jalapeno, ripe kiwi. Complex and punchy, rounded out by an underlying sweetness. Well crafted, exceptional value and not a varietal you see everyday. Label says this Rhodacantha but skews more like a Karwinski as other reviewers have noted. Cant recommend this one enough
Very consistent from batch to batch. papaya, mango, burnt leather, yogurt, caramelized sugarcane. Complex spectrum of evolving flavors from sip to sip. Slightly acidic, some barnyard funk, long finish, Superior to most of the other Cupreatas available.
Very surprised to see the disparaging reviews of the this here.
It comes in hot but is incredibly complex with flavors of white chocolate, wet clay, baking spices, and carmelized sugar. Very long finish that evolves and keeps going. Beautiful product, I heard recently that they found dinosaur bones on Eduardo’s palenque so hopefully that doesn’t put him out of production for a while.
