Musty-er than your standard tobala. Instead of opening with fruit and double bubble, it starts with tarragon, lime, and basil. More basil throughout, some fruit and leather on finish. Really really neat
Opens with fairly standard eucalyptus and asparagus. Then it takes a left turn into a fandango of peaches, nectarines and bell peppers. The combo just works. Stellar

The juiciest mezcal ive had in some time. For some reason in getting a carribbean feel from this one. Lime, tobacco, leather, oranges. Slight funk to round it out. Gonna have to buy another bottle next time im in San Antonio
Middle of the road. Seems like another standard/mediocre release from MM. Not many misses lately, but also very few standouts
Too much vanilla for me. Makes it taste sweeter than it is. A one and done

Wonderful papaya and old leather. Some pine. All muted but working together to make this one awesome. Mouthfeel is the best part. Coats the gums like a nice amaro.
Enjoyed this one. One of my favorite maguey melate releases. Amalgamation of a ton of different herbs and fruits that just works. Can def see this as a sipper or a great base in a killer cocktail/punch
I dont want to call it a miss, but its not really a hit. Kinda one note. Maybe chestnuts and waxy walnut. Some of that astringent soapiness. Eh
