Lote 837 – Enero 2020 is a spectacular example of how a Maestro Mezcalero, Serafin Garcia, can take the same ingredients and create a fresh, complex spirit from an espadin. This is not your typical espadin and that is exactly why I love it. It is Serifin’s art in a glass.

It starts off very fresh, but as you sip it unfolds and packs a nice warm heat in the back of the throat. Vegetal and fruit notes that finish with a zing then warmth. It does not wear out it’s welcome and linger too long. Drawing you in for another sip.

The juice is complex without being aggressive. And a definite add to your back bar for those into to doing side by sides and tasting the difference a Maestro can make.
This bottle reflects the hand of the maker.

Such a beautiful spirit! This juice is remembered nearly 4 years after consuming it.
Bright and floral notes off the top, with delicately layered flavors in between and a syrupy, velvet finish.
