When not drinking mezcal I like to:

Cycling out of Austin, TX. Mountain biking in Chihuahuan desert.

First time enjoying mezcal:

First visited Jalisco and discovered Tequila. Next was Oaxaca for something called mezcal, then Puebla, Oaxaca, Oaxaca again and again.... . Viva la Mezcal!

First bottle ever:

5 Sentidos Papalometl was not the first, but the one I remember.

Favorite agaves or magueys:

Jabali and Tobasishe

If stranded on a desert island with only one mezcal:

If only one, then something basic like Rey Campero Espadin
