I wasn’t really used to the taste of mezcal, but this one took me by surprise. The first thing I noticed was how smooth it was, which I wasn’t expecting. Even though it’s a mezcal, it’s really pleasant on the palate without losing that signature smoky flavor.
The initial notes reminded me of cooked agave with a refreshing hint of fresh herbs. What really stood out to me was the subtle citrusy undertone that added a great touch of freshness.
