First experience with mezcal was my 45th birthday. I was at a local Mexican/South American restaurant and since I was already a fan of smoky Scotch whisky, thought I'd try one of the restaurant's offerings. I chose Sombra...and really liked it...campfire aroma, as I best recall...it is on my wishlist to obtain a bottle, but so far can only seem to get it by the glass at the restaurant.
