Not gettin the love. Different sotol to be sure, but pretty one note and a slightly harsh finish. Pleasant but not incredible
One of best sotols ive has. Spoiler alert: ive only had 9-10. Very little bite, earth and rubber tire on the nose, herb garden on the palate… very smooth and short finish. Nice
Not otherworldly but very good. Worth seeking out
Dear god! Craziest tasting agave spirit ive ever had. No alcohol burn at all. Nose is of wet dog and pepto bismol. Paint? Glue? Paint thinner? New car? On the taste. Lotta stuff going on here. Cant even put a finger on anything.
Wouldnt buy a bottle, but fun to try once…. and maybe only once. If deciding between this and the Masparillo, go with the latter
A lot of different flavors here but the alcohol is a little much. Nose also a little muted, keeping this from being a true 5 star experience. Oil, pecan, lime, and herbs on the super-long finish. Solid
I think i remember this being solid? Was pretty out of it at the time
Had at Pujol, and the bought a bottle the next day at Sabra Dios in Mexico City. Perfectly balanced, juicy, and a dry type finish that doesnt linger too long. A treat
Nailed what they were going for
4.5 stars really. Great price point. No burn for 49%. Classic earthy/funk that u get wirh a potatorum. Finish though…. all chocolate. Wonderful, enjoyable. One of my favorite tobala’s
Same fruit that I got from the Papalometl. Almost the same mezcal to me. Fruit and more fruit…
Interesting. Brisket bbq and tobacco with some decent smoke. Not overly complex but different.
Not sure yet if my jam
One of the more different Potatorums ive had. Fruit punch throughout, very little bite on the back end. Smooth capri sun type mezcal
Struggling to rate this. It absolutely nails a mole flavored pechuga. Still, i guess I just prefer regular espadilla. 4.5/5
