So light and delicate, to a fault. Very little smoke
Could mistake this for a blanco tequila almost.
A more in-your-face version of Del Maguey Chichicapa
Better thank I expected. Solid
Standard… not bad. Not great. Would drink again. Wonder what the price point is…
Decent. Kind of your standard espadin. Not getting much damiana
Also, pretty decent alcohol burn on the finish that seems to last a good while.
Not getting the love for this one at all. Smells like indoor pool water. Chlorine/musty stagnant lake water smell almost. Taste is some of the same, including a strange piloncillo/chocolate roastiness that is off putting. Hard to finish a half pour, thank god i didnt buy a bottle
Welp, they nailed what they were going for (mezcal with a coffee kick). However, its not really my bag. The coffee doesnt overwhelm the mezcal completely, but its definitely a bold flavor.
Halfway through the pour and still not sure what to think of this. Fun to try once, but really glad I didnt buy a whole bottle
Liked it better than most others who have reviewed it on here. 5th day of mezcal advent calendar
Strange, interesting, odd. Leaning closer to 3.5 stars. Nose is incredible, but mid palate and finish are nothing like it.
The more i drink, the less I like it. Cant quite pur my finger on what is going on here
Hard to believe this is an espadin
Def. get a smoothness that usually isnt present in wilder agaves. Like others have said, very mineral, clean, slightly sweet and floral. Not much smoke, almost borders on a complex blanco tequila. Solid AF
Sweet, in the best way. Light, wet hay nose that i wish i could make a candle out of. Taste is slight jalapeno and a lotta smoke and char. Finish is abrupt, but i cant stop sipping. Almost thirst quenching.
I want another bottle
Not sure what to think. Punches you in the face with herbs and pepper, then maybe some slight plastic/rubber followed by graham crackers and smoke and a rock candy finish.
Interesting? Yes. Strange? Yes. For me? Not my jam
Saw this on the shelf at the liquor store with only one bottle left. $109.99
Intoxicating nose of citrus, flowers, grass, smoke, and slight earth.
Taste is much of the same. Goes down easy, very little burn. Cant believe this is over 100 proof.
Nice medium length finish with a slight bit of oil and minerality.
Overall: impressive. Worth picking up. The best ensamble ive had from RM
Whoah nelly! Nose is green apple and smoke, taste straddles the line between sweet and dry perfectly. Notes of orange, berries, and even some basil. I need to buy another bottle
Really dug this. One of my favorite ensambles. Great for the price, worth picking up a bottle
Strong to very strong. Bright, not overpowering. My first baconara.
