One of the best mezcals ive ever had. Deep, full bodied, complex, oily, smokey, but not overpowering. Wish I bought another bottle. An awesome finish that goes for days. Wow
Solid but not overpowering like Costa. Not sure if its worth the price, but worth trying nonetheless. Sl
Average to slightly above average versus other raicillas/mezcals ive tasted. Not overly complex, but not terrible. Like a good espadin in profile
Up there with the best mezcals/tequilas/agave spirits ive had. The only distillate ive had from the Maguey Masparillo, and wow, what an experience. Slightly sweet without being overbearing, smoke follows, with a dry finish almost making you want more and more after every sip. Citrus abounds, with slight vegetal notes. Complex, earthy, one of the best spirits ive had. Worth the money and time to seek out, too bad there were only 60 bottles from this release.
Echo the other reviews on here. Def. more of a blue cheese/burnt rubber taste. When offered to friends, most dont care for it. Have to say that I am sad I purchased the bottle, however, it would be fun to try once. A miss for me
