Pretty much what has already been said on here. Middling, not bad ensamble. 3.75/5 really. Its fine
4.75/5. Maybe the best tobala ive had. Chocolate frosting, angel food cake, cilantro cupcake type of flavor. This is awesome
Notes of lemongrass and pine. Some cedar somewhere in there. Sticky toffee pudding finish. Good
I thought this last AM series was the most solid of the 4 releases thus far. This offering is no exception. Nice interplay between sweet concha bread and basil. Finish is not light, nor heavy, but right in the sweet spot. Easy to sip, would probably be awesome in a cocktail as well. Pleasant
Enjoyable. Taste is in line with exactly what I was expecting. Nothing out of the norm. Some sweetness, slight campari type biterness…. the mezcal version of a negroni.
For $54 after tax, this is fantastic. Its not on the level of Real Minero or 5 Sentidos’ offerings, but better than Banhez and most of Del Maguey… at a fraction of the price. Lemons, grapefruit, mulch, and some kiwi. Love it
Mint. Mint. Spearmint. Kentucky Colonel. A metric ton of licorice as well. Anise. Good lort. Cant tell whether I really love this or dislike this at the moment. 4 stars, for now
Ive said it before and ill say it again. Real Minero is the best mezcal brand that distributes to the United States. Edgar doesnt make a bad distillate. Baller
Basement mustiness on the nose with limestone and clay on the palate. Mouthfeel is velvety smooth. Pretty simple for me though. Still, very enjoyable
Chocolate covered strawberries and mint. Strange finish. Need to revisit. 3.5….. for now
I peeked. I couldnt help it. The label art got to me. Very flowery pour. Rose hips, lavender, lilac. Lemon lime sprite with some minerality to finish. Solid
What johnny said. Like a fine cigar or breath of fresh mountian air, in terms of punch and effect. Opens with foie-like umami and green onions. Throw in some mandarin oranges too. Ends with cotton candy and blueberries. Very good overall
Tasting box. Loblolly pine. Ash. Maple. Cedar. Really forest-y. Teeters on 3.5-4 range
Take 5 Candy Bar. Sugar Babies. Candy! Sticky toffee pudding and cheesecake. Sweet but not overbearingly so. Wonderful!
One of the best arroqueno’s ive ever had. Imagine driving a ferrari down the Las Vegas strip. Sights to your left and right. Fountians, lights, the wind rolling through your hair. This one certainly entertains like that. So much to experience. Just amazing
This Texas-only release gave me FOMO bad; however, im glad I pulled the trigger on a bottle of this. Tobala’s arent usually my favorite, but this one is a tad different. Instead of the bubblegum/pepto/mint chocolate that I usually get, this one is more “dirty”. Leather, mushroom, cilantro, and a sugar cookie backbone. One of my new favorites!
Personally, I just think this is an above average agave distillate. Nothing stands out for me. Also, nothing is really off-putting about it. On to the next one
Crushable bicuixe. Stonefruit and asparagus, in the best way. Not too much depth, but not getting worked up about it as I almost drank half the bottle last night. Solid
Candy. Not sure exactly what candy, but sweet and sticky. Like a dublin dr pepper. Sugar babies and sour powers. This is still dry on the finish tho… scratches my itch for agave distillates. The best from Lalo so far in the Agave Mixtape series.
